Will Obama Become President?

Barack Obama has been a great candidate in the race. He has developed his ideas to the public and has justified his rights and equality to change America. Barack Obama also wants to change America and not keep it the same as Mccain is attending to do so, Obama realizes that the country is calling for help and needs every second to over come this hump. Barack Obama has alot of faith in changing America and he believes that it can be done. If elected Barack Obama will change what couldnt be done 100 years ago and that is become the first Black president. He has sacrificed his time and devotion to overcome. "Obama has a great intellect and the leadership characteristics of our great American presidents," said state Sen. Kirk Dillard, a Republican who befriended Obama in Springfield. "But the unknown is the administrative and foreign policy experience."Obama could be as calculating as they come. He promoted himself as a defender of abortion rights, but he encouraged fellow Democrats to vote "present" on abortion bills. Friends say the strategy was designed to protect lawmakers, including Obama, with designs on higher offices. Obama proposed a constitutional amendment to mandate universal health care. It lacked detail and he settled for a task force to study the issue. I think he has the qualifications to get the votes for him to become our President.

I agree with Mr.Najib in his blog "Will Obama Become President?" which is saying that Sen.Obama has the qualifications to get the votes for him to become our President leader, I mean me myself think that he's a better candidate than Sen.McCain but it's still too early to say that he has the ability of being a good US president because we don't know yet. He still has to prove that he's really gonna do all of the promises that he has said earlier while he was doing the campaign and able to handle all the problems that are going on while he is being the president. If we look at this blog, it seems that Obama is a perfect president candidate because the writer only mention all of the good things about him. From what I read in POLITICO, it says that in interviews, strategists in both parties pointed to four big vulnerabilities: Obama’s inexperience, the thinness of his policy record, his frank liberalism in a time when the party needs centrist voters and the wealth of targets that are provided by the personal recollections in his first book, from past drug use to conversations that cannot be documented, and some top Republicans think the party would have a better chance with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., as the nominee, since she is a known quantity while Obama can try to define himself as anything he wants. I really hope that we choose the right president this year. This country needs a good leader who not only cares about himself but the sake of this country.

I also agree with Najib when he states that Obama will change the world and have people look at this world in a broader aspect and perspective that no one has been able to reach out to yet. The campaign is officially over, and Obama has taken the seat as the First Black President. He has been credited for his work and all the hard work he has put into this campaign. McCain wasn't bad either, but Obama did something in order for the public to choose him. It was also proven that majority of the youth chose Obama as a President because he met their needs and wants. McCain just seemed to be taking care of the elderly while Obama was all about the youth and wanted to make some changes to this world. In this blog, the only thing that is mentioned about Obama are the positive things. In order for something or someone to look good, positive things will be the only things that are mentioned. In other news articles, papers, billboards, and etc, 'thrashy' things have been said about him but obviously it didn't affect the views of the voters.

I voted for Obama and I think I did make the right decision. But we will never know until changes start being made and people start getting affected. It's too early for us to agree on our decision. But hopefully, Obama, as our President, does make the changes he promised and will lead us to a better future.
